We’re still riding high on the Fearless launch party this week, and talk about our favorite moments of the night. We also spent a night playing a round of bar trivia for the MN Fringe Festival and discuss this Friday’s upcoming Fearless show at the BLB: Big Fun Radio Funtime. Finally, Matt is super excited about a Kickstarter project for a movie called Grammar Revolution, which we recommend you check out. We hope to talk to the project’s founders in a couple of months.

There are a number of liquor stores in the TC area the carry The Speyside, though it may not be the 12 yr. Top Valu Liquor on Central and 50th has an excellent selection, which I believe does include it.
Also was completely NOT surprised by the burst of song in the Fast Five, but still laughed out loud.
Stickers are fun… I like stickers….
Oh yeah, I see how it is. Jena did *everything* for the launch party.
…she was pretty awesome, though.
Every time I tried to correct Matt, he dismissed me. I hate being dismissed.
February’s Vil show is actually the 15th. The Bryant Lake Bowl has the correct date.

(The URL is misspelled one way, the show title in another)
Also now that the Launch Party is over, Jena will be slightly less harried, but no less hairy.
I apologize for the “HDR vs. Selective Color” question in the Fast Five, I thought it might prompt some in-show Googling that might have been fun.
HDR is High Dynamic Range photography. It’s basically a new way to make photos that look like you’re on acid. Here’s an example:

Selective Color is when you take a black and white image and paint in or allow in one piece of color imagery, often the eyes. The idea is to emphasize that element of the image, but it usually just looks like an incomplete page in a coloring book.

Other examples of photographic fads are oversmoothing (making a model’s skin look like plastic) and William Wegman.
