  • Episode 196!

This week we are joined by the lovely and talented Toussaint Morrison! You’ve all heard us talk about how much we love his music before, this week we talk to him for over two hours and barely mention music at all. This episode delves into politics, education, race, class, comedy, and Kickstarter. We could have gone for hours, we hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed talking. Don’t forget to check out Toussaint’s music at his Bandcamp page! Pick up an album and have your socks rocked off.

Lest we forget to give you a taste of what the man can do:

  • Episode 194!

Hello! The lovely and talented Tim Wick joins us this week for his three-peat appearance on the podcast to talk about the Fringe Festival and all kinds of wacky theater hijinx! As you have grown to expect, we find a few distractions along the way, but we have a ton of fun. Speaking of distractions, Salsa went camping for the weekend and found his new choice in Mariokart:

    Blue shell this bitch!
    Blue shell this bitch!

As I mentioned earlier the MN Fringe Festival is gearing up and that means there’s all kinds of wacky shit to see! The best way to keep track of what shows happen when and where is on the MN Fringe Festival website. For instance, there are Jena’s shows, And Still They Move or Fringe Orphans 3: The Legend of Orphans Gold. Or Tim’s shows, Jumpin’ Jack Kerouac, Power Point Karaoke, and Top Gun: The Musical. (Did we mention is has a Kickstarter?) Or Fearless Comedy Productions Fringe Sponsorship shows, First Draft Last Draft by previous guest Kyle Dekker and All Night Radio by David Walbridge.

Look, we’re really sorry we missed a week, but hot damn CON is an all consuming beast. We do our best to recap here and things will go back to normal next week I swear.

Email answers only at feedback@aonpodcast.com. Good luck!

In black and white, violet and red, of ash and bone he makes his bed
He takes a breath and begins to glow, and all around him living things grow

The lovely and talented Chris Marchand joins us this week as we ramp up to this weekend’s Masocore marathon! For the newer listeners, Masocore is an event put on by the group High Charity. Between this event and their annual Halo-related event, they have raised over $13K for Child’s Play over the years. Child’s Play is a charity devoted to providing videogame systems and games to children who are in hospitals, especially benefiting those who are in long-term situations. You can tune in to the live stream at the High Charity website starting at noon CST and running through Sunday. The AoN crew will be playing videogames for your amusement from 1Am to 3Am this Sunday morning. Please take a moment and check it out and support it if you can.
